Build-your-bowl hot pot 🍲

Big Way Hot Pot (@bigway.hotpot) is the most popular individual hot pot restaurant right now 🥳 Price is measured by weight so the heavier your bowl is, the more expensive it is. But I’m here to tell you what I usually put in my bowl to make it less than $20!

What’s in my $15 bowl - I like the collagen bone broth:
- 8x beef rib rolls
- 4x napa cabbage
- bunch of spinach (it disappears 😂)
- 2x tofu ball (the biggest one! Sucks up all the broth)
- 1x mochi
- 1x peeled shrimp
- 1x fresh tofu
- 1x shiitake mushroom
- half fresh noodles
- 1x mung bean noodle

Michelin ⭐️ French fine-dining in Tokyo

We celebrated our honeymoon with a fancy dinner at Recte (@recte.jp), a French fine-dining restaurant in the Daikanyama area.

Recte is known for kamado cuisine, which is cooked over charcoal or wood in a traditional stone oven. The Kamado set meal has 10 courses and dinner costed us $450 CAD for 2 people + 2 glasses of wine.

I tried pilates for the first time at Joayo Therapy (@joayotherapy + @joayopilates) in Brentwood, North Burnaby.

I wanted to be a graceful pilates princess but OMG it was hard 😭 The instructor was so nice and tailored to my beginner level but my posture, strength, balance and everything was so bad 💀 (how do I live like this) My legs were shaking so hard and my bum hurt for the next few days. Respect to pilates girls 🫡
