Dragon Bowl (@dragonbowl.ca) is a fast and affordable option for lunch and dinner. They have a build-your-own-bowl ordering system with different Chinese food and side dishes.

Large bowls start at $14.88 and bubble tea is around $5! Comes with 3 side dishes and they have different promotions.

I recommend:
🦐 Shrimp bowl with dragon sauce
🍛 Curry beef brisket with white rice - the brisket is pretty soft!

🌮 Arctic char tostada from @cuchilloyvr - fun Mexican restaurant to go with friends with a customizable menu for portions

🍢 Skewers from @john316mydelights - these are the best Malaysian skewers in the Lower Mainland imo

🍗 Mega chicken karaage from @guu_otokomae - this is a classic, what can I say? 🤷🏻‍♀️

🍨 Hojicha parfait from @nanasgreenteacanada - my mom’s favourite dessert shop for matcha treats!

🍱 Lunch sets from @newfuji_van - came here for mother’s fay 🥰

Finally, I checked out the famous Lunch Lady (@thelunchlady) on Commercial Street.

You may have heard the news that the original Lunch Lady, Nguyen Thi Thanh, has passed away, but the recipes and food created and inspired by her are still so amazing and brings friends & family together.

Their $55 family menu can be ordered for 2 or 4 people. The 4 person sharing menu comes with:

🥩 Beef carpaccio + Chips & dip
