As another basic millennial dog mom, we celebrated Tofu’s birthday with a special meal for him at Okini (@okiniyvr). They have a special dog menu and he was allowed to dine with us in the heated and undercover atrium/patio.

We ordered:

One of the highlights from our trip in Kinosaki Onsen Town was booking a private hot spring to enjoy together. Since all the bath houses and hot springs in town are separated by gender, a private onsen allows you to relax with your partner without being separated.

We booked the Japanese style private onsen that can only be booked if you are a guest at Nishimuraya Honkan (@nishimuraya.kinosaki) or their sister hotel, Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei (@nishimurayahotel):

📍 First stop was 21 Steps Kitchen + Bar (@21steps_whistler). I’ve eaten here several times before and they are a casual restaurant with Canadian comfort food and big portions - prices are reasonable!
